The start of her career

Ariana was born in Boca Raton, Florida in 1993 to her parents Edward Butera and Joan Grande.
She started singing and acting at a young age. When she was 15, she won a National Youth Theatre Association Award. In 2010 she was in a Nickelodeon show called Victorious, playing a character called Cat Valentine.
She was very busy with television and started to pursue a career in music.

Her music career

She started making her own music in 2011, and in 2013, she released her single "The Way",
 which became a hit and was in the Top Ten in the U.S. where it was certified triple platinum. That was the first single of her 2013 debut, which also featured other hits. That's when her singing career really started.
Her second album, "My Everything" got certified for double platinum.
Her latest album "Dangerous Woman" came out in 2016 and is her third album.
She makes pop, hip hop, and EDM music.
